dreams, gay, Recto, laptop, blog (see the connection)

I've had enough of those dirty dreams. I must tell this to the world so that it will stop. Or so I think.

This time, I'll tell the most recent dream. There's this guy, whom I have been "dating" recently. He grabbed a girl whom I can't remember. When they were already in a small room, I sneaked in and hid under a table. Surprise, surprise: they made out without seeing me under the table!

Later on, a past flame came to me and gave me a hug.

Gosh, I can't tell this.

Oh. I was listening to Good Times with Mo, Mojo, and Grace Lee over Magic 89.9 this morning. Mo Twister said that when a guy texts another guy, "Sweet dreams, Pare," the sender IS a gay. For all the guys out there, don't wish other guys to have sweet dreams. It's just sooo gay!

Speaking of gay stuff, yesterday, Kiboy and I went to Recto. I saw Joseph Bitangcol and Polo Ravales' movie poster, and I was like, "Eew! Kadiri naman yan!" They were kissing each other! It's just so disgusting! Then Kiboy said, "Si *******! Hanggang dito ba naman hindi nya ko tinatantanan?"

When we were in Recto, we saw this stall specialized in T-shirt printing. Actually, MYX Mo shirts were done there! Ate Veron, the owner, said that they priced the shirts around P80 each, while MYX will sell it today for P400! Well, the printing was great. I'm actually planning to design my own shirt and have it silkscreened there. Yay! I'm so excited! :D

I bought a new laptop! It's Compaq Presario CQ40. Well, actually I wasn't supposed to buy this one because I want either a white or pink one. My new laptop is black, but it's sleek and stylish. I'm starting to love it! The only problem is that it doesn't have a Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader yet. Kiboy lent me his Norton Anti-Virus already. To those who have an MS Office Installer, please lend it to me. I'll need it for my Creative Writing, Economics, and HRIM 100 classes!

I'm planning to change my blog layout. I might also transfer to another blog. The one that has shorter URL and easier to navigate.

Goodbye, CS

Okay. Thanks to my procrastination and bahala na attitude, I computed for my hypothetical GWA (Grade Weighted Average) for my 1st year 1st semester.

Formula: (Grade x # of units) / total # of units
Math 17 (2.5 x 5)
Comm 3 (2.0 x 3)
English 1 (1.75 x 3)
Kas 1 (1.25 x 3)
ES 10 (1.75* x 3)
--------------------
GWA: 1.9265

wow. This one's definitely a heartbreak.

I swear. Next sem, I'll strive harder. I'd be a GC (grade conscious) so that I will have an award :D

Adieu, First Sem

At long last, I'm home.

I can still remember the time when I was sitting inside the Council office, people-watching (looking at the residents carry their huge and bulky travel bags), seeing them leave one at a time. Another instance was that I kept on looking at the logout list posted at the DosFlorDos bulletin board, looking for my floormates who have already left Kalai.

But now, I'm home. I am in my favorite place on earth, here in Batangas. I've already brought home almost half of my dorm stuff. I had written my name in the logout sheet, and had surrendered the key to my room, GA24.

Most of all, I'm done with the mind-screeching thought of Finals Week.

Math 17
Blame my stomach problems for missing the last Math 17 refresher course. I was sent to Valenzuela (I didn't want to be admitted to the Infirmary because I know the "emergency room" woulnd't entertain me immediately, unless I am dying) so that my grandmom could take better care of me. Come the 13th, I was shocked with the "what-the-hell" exam. I know that I've lost my math prowess from high school, so I'm not expecting an uno (not like the flat uno that my roommate got) from that subject. Oh, let's just blame my math sked, 11:30-12:45, my nap time :P

English 1
I knew it. I shouldn't have neglected my reading skills from the very first day. My english finals was soooo like the UPCAT. Full of Reading Comprehension stuff. Well, I didn't study anything in english. I was "thoroughly preparing for ES10."

ES10
Heck, the finals was oh-so-highschool. I wasn't expecting it. It was sooo easy! The problem was that I forgot some of the terms I thought were irrelevant. Still, I have a fat chance of passing that subject :D

Kas 1
I tried to study for this subject, but my efforts wasn't enough. I know, and I admit, that I am the poorest girl in history class. To my surprise, there was only one question for the finals. I forgot the question already. But there are 1,000,150 bonus points.
-for 50 points, ano ang motto ng Pilipinas?
-for 100 points, iguhit ang mapa ng Mindanao
-for 1,000,000 points, basahin ang baybayin.

I've read the baybayin. It says, "Hindi ko tiyak kung naaalala ninyo pa ang baybayin. Pinagpala ang mga nakakaalala pa. Isulat ang UP Naming Mahal sa baybayin."

I did. I wrote it. I only missed one symbol: Wa. Gawd, why the hell can't I remember the symbol for the letter "W" when I needed it the most?

I needed it for flat uno in Kas 1. Sana hindi ma-recognize ni ma'am na hindi talaga "wa" yung symbol na nilagay ko. It's close, but not quite. Gawd!!!!

Uno na, naging bato pa.

Oh, by the way, I got a flat dos in Comm 3! Imagine, I am the worst speaker in Speech Comm, yet I got a 2.0 for it!!! Yay! :D

on CRS and semestral break

haha! I got all my subjects! :P

On the other hand, I feel so saddened because one by one, Kalai residents are leaving. I feel like I'm the last one to leave the dormitory. My friends are leaving, and some have left already. I miss them so much, but I still have a Kas 1 final exam to worry about. Moreso, OGX will have to meet on Friday at KFC Katipunan. I wanna go home na! I miss Batangas! I miss my family! I miss home!

But I'll miss my co-residents more. Aww!

dos dos dos

Whoa, I got a dos in PE!!! Surprise, surprise! :P

How's my Kalai life?

Last week, we had our Sem-ender party. It was really reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy boooooooooooooooooooring. Sorry to the Socio-cultural Committee who organized the party. There seemed to have a miscommunication between Heidi (SocioCom head) and her subordinates that's why it happened.

Well, that same event, the ICONS launch was held, through the merged efforts of the Finance Committee and Publicity Committee (of course!).

Here are the batch of Kalai Icons:

Erwin Beronio
Reynald Pader
Gerard Lahoz
Juan Pascual
Vince Tayaban
PJ Alarcon
Max Vicencio
Ryan Maranan
Ramene Lim
Kurt Solis
Jes Desuasido
Josef Manila

Irina Tan
Samantha Aquino
Wilma Paradero
Ultima Mancenido
Ara Tan
Beth Rosero
Niera Dizon
Erika Falcon
Pau Gueco
Bettina Bondoc
Sukh Bhogal
Hannah Castillo

Next semester, be awed with the Icons Re-Launch on the first General Assembly! Also, look forward to Icons Booth! :P

I'm so excited for next sem!

Oh, by the way, there are some thoughts that I don't want to entertain come next sem. First, a lot of DosFlorDos girls are leaving us. Dana, Kessy, and Ate Den are no longer staying in the dormitory for some reasons. I don't want to let go of them!

Next up, I don't want to take up my major if I'd not pursue my course anyway.

Finally, I'd have to say goodbye to my friends from this semester. I sooo love them all, especially my Kas 1 classmates and my Math 17 blockmates.

Well, this is life. This is college. This is UP. I'd have to accept the fact that things must go on this way.
